Gray Shades of Blue Making Change Isn't Easy

Alcohol, drugs, anger and criminal behavior are often interconnected. As a retired detective, I worked with people whose use of alcohol, drugs, and being unable to control their anger often resulted in their involvement with the criminal justice system. And, they were the lucky ones because I personally placed the dead bodies of many young people in body bags due to their abuse of alcohol and drugs or being unable to control their anger. I use a very different approach to working with clients. I don't consider myself a therapist but rather a coach. The modality I use in working with clients is solution focused which simply means we focus on today without dwelling on the past. After all, if we keep going back to the negative times, we just continue to be depressed and blame others. Your drinking, drugging, anger and criminal behavior was your choice. Many people, including myself have had negative situations in our lives but faced them straight-on without self-medicating with alcohol or drugs; we learned to control our anger and avoided getting involved in criminal behavior. I can help you get through these tough times. Together we will work on moving your life forward to the point that you will stop drinking, drugging, and be able to control your anger and avoid jail. Working together, you will achieve being the person you should be; you will learn to let go of the person inside you who has been hiding behind a bottle, a syringe or pill, a mask of anger or a jail cell. With over thirty-five years experience working in the criminal justice system, with adults and adolescents addicted to drugs, anger and criminal behavior I have evaluated many clients relative to these behaviors making recommendations for their best course of treatment. My evaluation includes a complete bio-psychosocial assessment based on an intense individual meeting with the client, and a variety of testing assessments if necessary, from which a Comprehensive Forensic Evaluation Report with treatment recommendations will be prepared for presentation in court. These reports have been taken into consideration by judges when determining if an individual should be recommended for treatment rather than incarceration. Fee including three copies of the Comprehensive Evaluation Report is $350.00. Expert Testimony is available at $150.00 per hour plus expenses. If you are an attorney respresenting a client or an individual in need of an in-depth forensic evalaution please contact me at (561)809-9041 or e-mail: grayshadesofblue@aol.com
