Life Skills Coaching is not therapy or counseling. Life Skills Coaching is often used to improve performance in a specific area. Examples include: career goals, employment strategies, relationships, staying on the course of sobriety, anger management, post traumatic stress disorder, and other issues in your life. It is more practice than therory drivien and relies on the individual developing interpersonal skills. Life Skills Coaching allows you to search within yourself to open up the blocks to your personal progress. It assists and motivates you to sustain positive self-talk rather than negative self-talk and helps you respond to these new though processes instead of being led by your emotions.
Past or current alcohol or substance abuse, criminal behavior or PTSD due to combat and overseas assignments while serving in the military, can rob you of your ability to live your life and achieve your dreams. I have worked with many people who quickly lost the motivation to succeed shortly after being discharged from a treatment program or released from jail. I also know that someone suffering from PTSD needs to talk with someone who understands and has experienced the disorder.
Life Skills Coaching can help and if you are ready for change, why not email me at philbulone@yahoo.com or call me at (561) 809-9041 to see if Life Skills Coaching is for you.
